Let me tell you something:
After I became a dad, I noticed how hard it is to find kid friendly foods that offer a WINNING nutritional profile that would ensure my kids grew up optimally in mind, body and soul.
On top of that... Do you agree that getting kids to eat nutritious foods can often be just PAINFUL?
Most “kid-friendly” foods are loaded with sugar... it’s amazing how even the “healthier” options are PACKED with added sugars...
I mean, what are these food companies up to?
And not only sugars... Most “kid-friendly” foods are also packed with sodium, artificial flavors and dyes all linked to ill health, bad grades, hyperactivity, and unhappy kids and parents alike.
So what’s up with these conventional snack foods? Why are they loaded with so much crap? Why are foods made of such harmful ingredients marketed towards our KIDS?
The answer is that they taste good and kids seem to love them. That’s why these food companies keep making these products and parents keep buying them for their kids.
But not me. I refused to buy stuff that will harm my kids. I refused to not to be a good dad to my kids.

Here’s the good news: We’ve created a snack snack that’s packed with protein and essential nutrients that even the pickiest of kids can’t get enough of.
I knew that in order for a snack food to be optimal for kids it had to be balanced.
A balanced diet contains just the right amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Protein is essential for a healthy brain and muscle growth. Kids who don’t get enough protein may experience poor concentration, slowed growth, and fatigue.
In recent years, several fad diets have recommended the elimination of carbohydrates from our diets... while reducing certain types of carbohydrates such as refined sugars are indeed beneficial to health, removing all carbs is not!
Carbs are essential to fuel your kid’s brain and growing muscles. They’re the preferred source of energy by the body and they’re also a vital part of the nervous, immune and digestive systems.
Fats are essential for brain development and they’re the building blocks of hormones. A good balance of fats help kids feel full and prevent them from overeating. Apart from balance I wanted to make a snack made with REAL food and with the best ingredients possible: organic, non-gmo and free of soy.
With the help of food experts, I started mixing green peas, yellow peas, brown rice and navy beans. Later baking them and infusing them with bold natural flavors. It took us 6 months to come up with the first recipe, and then another 6 months just to get it right.
After much hard work, flavor testing and tweaking... BOOM!
